should be ok.i would crank the engine for 20 secounds after 1.5km towing to be sure the trans got some lube again .probably need to stop and put in park to crank then tow the rest of distance. inN

These cars never break down - what did you do to it! Extract from our N14 manual which should cover your car. If you have to tow an automatic model with four wheels on the ground: Observe the following restricted towing speeds and distances: Speed: Below 50km/h Distance: less than 65km Never tow an automatic model backwards. Never tow an automatic with rear wheels raised and front wheels on the ground. Recommended that front wheels should be off the ground. Steering lock must always be off - unlocked. Oops, nearly missed it - TRANSMISSION MUST BE IN NEUTRAL NOT PARK.

Thanks for that advice.I would say that the fuel pump or filter is blocked.It starts then dies.Kids ! They tend to run around just off E all the time.

Running the car low does mess with the pump
