seems a good price, not original seat covering, rear indicators dont appear standard, alternator & points covers are off a esf/esg so possibly been dropped on both sides ( katanas had gold inlay ) . maybe you could ask where he got the new tyres from and if it was a local bike shop call them to see if they know much about it. find out if he's willing to take for a wof check then it will give a idea of any outlays it may need ( they're getting pedantic on brake disc wear and negligible bearing wear nowdayswhich can add up. )
definitely needs better photos ! tyres are 100/90-16 & 120/90-17 from memory (you can got to 130/90 rear) while not super common anymore bridgestone do the bt45 range & obviously pirelli are still covering those sizes.

apologies for double post earlier, connection dropped off i thought so re posted.
i dunno therafter, could just be equivalent of a boyracer adding performance big bore & pod filters . was quite common in the late 80's & early 90's.

Cant compare the two bikes. Very different, one certainly a classic ther other never will be.

No need for tears, but if someone offers an alternative, then it can be seen as a comparisen.
