Can any one help me!I crushed the header pipe on my crf motorcross bike,A new one from honda is $495. I"ve rung around the bike wreckers but no luck finding one.Does any one know of agood second hand one or a cheaper after market pipe about. Thanks

I may have one.I purchased a couple250/450X mufflers which I run on my 600s and one came with a header.Not sure whether it's 250 or 450.450s use a slightly wider version than the 250.I'll check later and post back.and that is robbery for a short piece of metal.

Gimme a minute.Just putting up the pictures and doing a measure.5mins.Hmm.problem.- Photo server I use is out of action.Measurments are Actual pipe diameter=35mm Head fitting=43.5mm Muffler fitting=38mm I need to figure out a new picture server so that may take a few minutes.
Thanks fror that helpless but its a bit smaller so must be off a 250.Thanks anyway.

Yep,,Guessed as much.I run both types of the Mufflers on my XR/XL600s.Both of them are plenty capable of handling there HP and gasses so either front pipe would work on a 450 if they fitted.Still,,You know what you want so fair enough.

And THIS is why Honda are no longer the Number One motorcycle brand in New Zealand. Well, that AND the fact that mosty of the old Honda dealers were a bunch of arrogant pr1cks.

Er No.Old Honda dealers and repair shops like Forbes and Davies when they existed in Nelson St Auckland were very good people.Modern Honda dealers are a rip.any part we get here through them can be had for half the price from the States.As an aside,,I payed about $70.00 each,,sometimes a little more for those CRF Mufflers from here. From Honda they are probably $700.Bargains abound if you know what your looking for and those mufflers work fantastically on my 600s.All CRF stuff is overpriced new because the things are popular.and headers and specialist made pipes are daylight robbery when something else will do.
