Hi there, i am considering buying a Honda Inspire 2005 and am not sure it the car has a cam belt or chain drive. I have contacted the dealership but they don't know the details as the car is with customs getting clearance.
Can anyone here who has a Honda Inspire 2005 confirm whether the car has a cam belt or a chain drive since the car I'm considering is at 100,000km flat.

i think it has the Honda j30A engine.

Yup, its a belt driven engine. Replacement interval is 8 years or 120,000kms.

But, in saying that, I would look at getting it done sooner. The dealer may even come to the party, as most Hondas have a recommendation of 100,000km and 5 years.
