Sorry Jazz but it's not a VW ;) I had a sit in a MK5 Golf hatch recently and it was too low so the wagon would have been too. After zipping around the Gold Coast last week in a 2010 Barina hatch and finding it big enough for our luggage, I decided to get a hatch. Saw a 2012 Ford Fiesta LX auto hatch in Aurora Blue yesterday, test drove it this morning and bought it home this afternoon :)

Is very exciting as I've never had a brand new car. My first three cars were Fords - Mk2 Cortina, Mk4 Cortina and Mk1 Laser hatch. Then a Mk7 Corolla wagon which has been a typical reliable 'rolla but am definitely enjoying the zip of the Fiesta :)

The new Barina reviews make it sound good especially compared to the old models. But I saw one today and didn't like it. They look like a toy. The rear door handles being put in the top back corner is just weird!

Has a good sized boot for a little hatch although I'm getting a spare wheel to replace the goo and compressor!
