How many bolts need to be bolted threw the coupling on a single axle trailer (deck size 1500 x 2100) Im doing up a trailer at the mo and iv noticed it has 2 x bolts at the front but only one bolt in the middle at the back of the coupling. The trailer used to pass wofs 5yr ago.

I don't believe the virm specifies the number of bolts, just that it has to be bolted, and obviously must be secure
