reason being i couldnt see out the back window it was blurry i ripped off the tint off the rear window and it has a sticky residue left on it how do i clean it off thanks

should use a heat gun to remove tints properly. Probably need a heat gun and a plastic scraper to get the residue off

i used thinners straight onto the tint once and it took it off easy

Just go easy as you'll take the demister off if you're not careful. So no scrapers etc.

soapy water and elbow grease worked for me. not too sure if elbow grease is ok to use on rear window because of the demister

We take this sort of stuff off all the time. Have found turps to be the best. Spray on and let soak for a minute or 2 then scrape off. Be very careful around the demister.
