Have just driven from Taranaki to Tauranga/Mt Maunganui today and while here the coon developed a miss and now has dropped a cylinder, suspect the coil pack has failed. Was going to go back home today but have decided to stay until the morning to sort it out. The question is, where would i find a second hand coil pack to get me home in the morning! Don't know the Tauranga area at all. Any help would be much appreciated

off to the ford dealer in the morning! - may be your best idea! one would think they should have leads, plugs, and coil pack in stock. from memory, when i was in parts, they werent badly priced new.

ok good to know they're not badly priced. Just been and checked spark, down on number 3 only as suspected. Have swapped leads between 3 and 4 to eliminate lead as fault. Its not the plug or the lead, only leaves the coil.
