Assuming you filled it before starting the trip meter, you're getting 14.4l per 100km. If you didn't fill it before starting to count the k's, there is no way of working it out (I suspect you didn't).

14.4 in a 2l car is pretty bad, unless it was 400km around town, towing a house.

Use a formula like this:

litres used / kilometres driven x 100.

I can't work it out for you as unsure of your fuel usage from post.

If you then want old school (British) mpg then 9.42 is exactly 30 to the gallon.

If thats 400ks to 57l you have a problem, my twin turbo subaru gets 550ks to 55l.

forget working it out off what you have already done. You need to run this tank down then brim it again. record the k's that you get out of this tank and how many litres it takes to top it up. Once you have those two figures you can divide the litres you put in by the number of kms in units of 100km.

For example 567km and 55 litres:
55 ÷ 5.67 = 9.7L/100km

1997 Toyota Caldina 2.04wd turbo (manual, stock standard) - nets me 500kms for 45 - 50 litres, lots of motorway driving. Dash display tells me Im averaging 11km per litre, can get as good as 15km/litre (off the scale) and at worst 6km per litre (terrible, jammed in mway traffic). l conclude that your car is very thirsty!
