The car isn't starting properly once car is hot

the car isn't starting properly once the car is hot at the moment, When it is cold it starts fine and drives ok its just once it is hot it just cranks over won't start until the car has cooled down then it will start up fine again, the engine light on dash is on

where doi start to look, whatis likely to be the problem ! thanks

take it to a mechanic with the correct diagnostic tools for your car.possibly a holden dealer would be a good place to start so you dont end up with some other monkey "guessing" what could be wrong whilst telling you he knows what he's doing

yes looking for a later model hatch for budget $$ ,is a hard role ! but this is the best offer yet if it ca be repairedfor a reasonable cost,whats a temperature senor and crank sensor cost for these cars !.And what are they re badged from.

Crank sensors about $300 (buy from UK) its a Vauxhall Astra there or Opel Astra in the rest of Europe.
McGyver method. Buy a can of freeze spray, run engine until it faults, spray the crank sensor, if it restarts you have found the fault if not look further.
