Why do Falcons depreciate so much?

Not even that makes sense. Old falcons are worth faaar more than old Holdens.

This whole thread is hilarious.kids in the school yard.

Hey mapman, how do YOU judge the quality of a car!

mapman, Jul 18, 7:13pm
Have you got anything sensible to say! Mate, your not even funny, at least try harder to crack a joke.

floscey, Jul 18, 7:17pm
why start being sensible when im dealing with an idiot.

bellky, Jul 18, 7:28pm
Yous dudes are cruizing for a warning - let it go, who cares - everyone knows Ford is King.

floscey, Jul 18, 7:35pm
funny ,thats all ive been doing. Allways good for a laugh . So is it Bobo,Crunchie or Crusty who gets to ride shotgun in the Mapmobile .

smac, Jul 18, 7:52pm
OK lets get this straight.

The Ford fan boys want to convince the Holden fan boys to like Fords.and the Holden fan boys want to convince the Ford fan boys to like Holdens.

That about right!

Weird.

Who really gives a shit what car somebody else prefers!

bubbles244, Jul 18, 8:16pm
This Is correct! why because fewer fords are on the road today from past era's then holden's, naturally there scarcity creates demand which increases the price. not because there are any particular benefits to owning a ford over a holden of the same era.

Mapman I see from that link that Commodores depreciate by 57% over the same time frame which is almost the same as the Falcon. Perhaps the question should be why do Falcons AND Commodores depreicate so much but I suspect the real reason for the thread is to have a bit of a go at the Falcon. Helps relieve a bit of boredom I guess.

floscey, Jul 18, 8:22pm
sssssh dont mention the gen 3 oil usage problems.

bellky, Jul 18, 8:51pm
What you've said here shows that you don't know what you're talking about. When you've been around for as long as I have, and been a car (especially Ford) fanatic for as long as I have, you will understand the market for old Fords and Holdens better.

floscey, Jul 18, 8:53pm
mate ,your trying to dig dirt on cars back as far as 1964 .

bellky, Jul 18, 9:16pm
No not right as far as I'm concerned. I'd prefer Holden lovers to keep right away from Fords alltogether.

This is like watching two guys arguing which is better, a Austin 1300 or Morris 1300.hehe

bellky, Jul 18, 10:58pm
The answer to that is neither.

pebbles61, Jul 18, 11:09pm
Still better than a Holden or Ford :D

bellky, Jul 18, 11:12pm
Definitely^, only I'd rather walk.

skyblue17, Jul 18, 11:20pm

bellky, Jul 18, 11:23pm
