have a old yamaha scooter since i have stuck in new oil and fuel has started to smoke hardout is this got anything to do with the mixture of fule and oil as the oil mixes in the fuel tank! or would that not be th reasn! thanks

Are you mixing oil and petrol in a 2 stroke that already has oil injection!

See if you can google the correct mix proportions - from memory some of those engines ran on a very lean oil mix and you may have just given it a wee bit extra 'for luck'

It does not have fuel injection is a 1997 yamaha mint it did have a oil pump but has not been working for a very long time so bascily i stick the oil into fuel tank i have a mixing container but maybe i stuck in to much oil maybe add more fuel to it then! thanks
