whqqsh, Aug 8, 9:41pm

God no, don't get any more girly than that.
Legions of them dropping kids off and being driven badly by mums who 'need' a 4wd.

mcwoods, Aug 8, 9:46pm
hahaha well i am a girl so that makes sense that i like it!
so whats a man car! what about the ford

sifty, Aug 8, 9:54pm
Not too sure on the Territory, think they're pretty good, if a little thirsty. But a real man would boast about that.

mcwoods, Aug 8, 10:12pm
haha well he doesnt really give a toss either way. he wants reliable with grunt as a foresty man they will be used off road,so grunt and a big tog power as he has a huge tralier he fills up. he has a navara but isnt its basic not comfy for the long hauls.

Get him a Nissan Patrol!

thejazzpianoma, Aug 8, 10:23pm
I occasionally (very occasionally) see a Touareg Diesel go for 20K. That would be ideal, absolutely absurd amounts of towing power, comfort, reliability and surprisingly cheap to run.

Its easy enough to get a petrol one on budget pretty much anytime but diesel will be cheaper to run. If you can get him to drive one I doubt he would want anything else.

whqqsh, Aug 8, 10:35pm

A real man would boast about a car being thirsty.! Maybe in your world, but
then you aren't far from the cave eh.!

noswalg, Aug 9, 12:40am
What sort of road does he need to drive on! Forestry roads / skid sites! Or up bush tracks! Has he looked at Holden Avalanches!

bobwyn, Aug 9, 12:52am
I went from a Nissan safari to a Holden Avalanche its far nicer to drive and good on shingle roads haven't gone off road yet

sifty, Aug 9, 2:24am
