Hi there, I had a fuel gauge that would not work so installed another one but it burnt out! I had the auto electrician check out the wiring he said all good so at a loss as to why it burnt out. Its a old HJ holden unit. Any ideas! Cheers

I know for a fact HQs had 2 different gauge set-ups. One was thermal and the other was magnetic, if you hook the wrong gauge to the wrong sender they would burn out the gauge. May pay to check the HJ ones.
