Anyone know about a 2003 Suzuki Intruder Motorbike

Turn ignition on and headlight very dull and both back indicators illuminate and stay on , engine will start fine but headlight is still dull as above ant idea,s please !

id say check the battery voltage to start with or it may just be a bad connection to the head light

Check that the switch isn't on "park".

Done all that and still the same turn on ignition all necessary lights come on 2 front indicators light up , headlight comes on but very dull and both back indicators light up as well when they should,nt! taillight works like it should and no blown fuses anywhere , battery is perfect , horn goes bike starts and when you turn indicators on headlight also blinks as well can turn headlight onto high beam and very dull as well but no high beam indicator comes on ! .

have you checked the headlight connection see what voltage your getting at the connector

Earthing problem somewhere I'd say, check inside the headlight and anywhere else there may be earth connections, probably be one somewhere around the tail light as well.

Checked all earth connections and still got the issue , going to take it into a sparky on Monday , just odd that back indicators are illuminating when ignition is turned on , dont have a volt tester , so no idea what the voltage to the headlight is , just know that its very dull around candle light on both beams , bike starts o.k. indicators blink , stop lamp goes , speedo lamp goes oil , water temp and nuetral light go, but no headlight and back indicators staying on !

Have found fault is a Omron G8MS-S26 1743D6 Relay under the back seat , problem is now , where to find one !

Sure have checked everything , the front indicators are double filament bulbs and stay on when ignition is on as well as headlight , back indicators are single filament , they also stay on and huge clicking sound comming from relay when ignition is first turned on , have checked google and another chap had the same issue a while back was the relay itself have contacted Suzuki New Zealand to get price on new relay .You can start the engine and all indicators will blink asthey should , but headlight is very dull and both back indicators stay illuminated and speedo light is out , have checked and not blown .
