ring juicy rentals down town Auckland, i have inspected a few there in the last week, they are updating to 2012 Suzuki Swifts models, i think they are selling around 150 odd cars, great cars, rear wheel bearings normally need replacing around 80k

Have a Swift Sport. Closing on 140,000kms and have not done anything to it other than standard 15,000km servicing. Gets 6.4ltrs per 100kms fuel average, tyres at 83,000kms, brake pads barely worn and yep, it gets driven quick (got the tickets to proove it).
It rides a little harsh and the trim has a few little rattles but the best referance I can give, we will be replacing it with another Swift sport.

That's awesome berg.

You'll get really different opinions depending on who you ask.

By the way as another example my mothers Swift Sport is sitting on 7.4l/100km average although its used almost exclusively in low speed stop start driving. Also the first set of front tyres lasted somewhat less than 20,000kms (not the cars fault, just the type of usage it gets)

Wifes 2012 CVT Sport has averaged 8.1 litres/100 kms over its first 4000 kms. Not great but it gets driven quite hard.

Bit of a pain with no spare wheel though!

short version. They are now reasonable to buy price wise. Cheap to run and maintain.(you'll be expecting an extra 1 in front of the petrol price) but expensive for accident repairs.

Swift has a spare.
Swift Sport has air compressor and tyre foam. Sport exhaust = less room under boot floor for spare.

Current car has a spare but never used it so far. Same with previous car, unused.

I don't get concerned about repair costs. That is the insurance companies problem.
