Just need to get something cheap to get around the city in with gas going up.
Problem is all the small things are made for people < 6ft so I end up either having to lean back so far or else have my head on the cielling
What is there that is reasonably roomy inside, not a dog with acceleration and preferably not a hatchback! Even a 2 door would be ok.
Not wanting to spend more than $4k on a good example of whatever.

Size of car and head room are pretty much unrelated. I've driven big cars with not enough room (and I'm under 6') and I know a guy who's 6'6" who owns a swift which he fits in comfortably.

Ok, so they all have more room than something like a getz! I hate driving mums one of those since i have to duck to see past the top of the windscreen unless I am reclined to hell.

Well, I'm 6' tall, and had no problems with driving a Getz.
