Lovely wee thing (5 door version) in manual - high kms but drives better than 99% of the 100,000km models i tried out that same day .

Wow, I am impressed you managed to test drive 100 or more Vitara's with 100'000km on the clock in one day. That would make a great documentary or entry for the Guinness book.

If the one he purchased was 1% of the vitaras he drove in one day, then he must have driven at least 99 others.

yea the thing used to be that male-timarus cars can do 100,000km on 1 tank of fuel and 1 set of tyres, its why we are sarcastic with him now, No serious offence intended. You should be able to remember that johnf_456 or where you not here back then!

No John took over EXACTLYwhere Will left off!

llortmt, Oct 7, 6:55am

Had a 1995 Vitara - same thing but auto - owned from 134000ks to 171000ks. Only $$ spent were on usual running costs, brake pads, spark plugs, replaced the oversized tyres. Great little wagon. Bit underpowered for me. Spoke to the bloke I sold it to the other day. Now 211000ks and all he's done is cleaned out the radiator. Still running as sweet as
