Thought you might like to hear. Out at the racing today there was an old golf. turbo diesel. 1800cc OHC engine, Bosch pump, audi q7 turbo running 40psi boost. Running on b100 Bio Diesel. Ran really clean too but apparently its as black as a tyre fire when run on dinosaur juice.
It was faster than a 4age corolla on the straight bits but through the corners wasn't as nimble.

I feel sorry for the team though, because its a 1800cc turbo its treated the same as a 1800cc petrol turbo so gets lumped in the same class as the big boys like evos, skylines, silvias and the awesomely fast v8 rx7

vw never made a 1.8 diesel it be a 1.6 1.9 or the new 2.0

fair enough might have been boored up from 1.6 then who knows. Now here is a guy doing a seriously fast conversion 5.24 minutes .
