I have a mazda 6 running bridgesone potenza 205.50.r17 tyres. They are due for replacement and I was wondering if there is a brand or model that would give me a soifter ride. Also they are pumped to 2.2 bar. Would reducing nthe pressure help or be harmful.

I've driven dozens of them, both new and older shape and never noticed a hard ride. But I've just had a look at a couple we have here and they have 16" wheels. Are your's after market alloys!

No, they are standard alloys fitted to the 2,5l gsx nz new wagons post 2008.

Try the Toyo TEO Plus. Heaps of reviews here: www.productreview.com.au/p/toyo-teo-plus.html One person with a Mazda 6 said the reduction in road noise after replacing the OEM Bridgestones with the Toyo TEO Plus was like it had transformed into a Lexus and the ride quality improved as well.
