Hey folks. Have just replaced the casings for my keys. key will lock and unlock the vehicle but will not allow it to start. Any ideas on my next move? Cheers, Greg/.

Grab the OLD casing and hold it VERY close to the key in the ignition.see if the car starts.--you might have to swap ends I'd put money the chip is in the old casing.

Just tried that. no go. Have tried the shut/open/on/off procedure and it does everything its supposed to, except the security light flashes and it won't start.

Have you dropped a the tiny transponder out of the casing?

This. Happens very easily without being noticed. Search the floor where you took apart the old key very carefully.
