If I get a WOF for my trailer and then put a big box on it, is that legal! The box will look rather like a caravan! I want to use the trailer for carting stuff around most of the time, and the box will never be on it when going for a WOF.

Yup think of the box as a load sumthing u carting! So as long as it secure to trailer sweet

In theory the windows on the box should be safety glass. But I think I'll use Perspex. And of course nobody will ever be in it when it's being towed.

If you are sensible about how you mount it to the trailer there shouldn't be any problems.

Actually it will look so amazing that maybe it will be towed in parades with people in it. But towed very slowly!
