Caused by a faulty seal between the two. Can anyone give me an idea of cost to repair.

Heaps - pull T/Case off & replace a $12 seal bugger the labour is so high

Yup, and it's possibly going to lead to an overhaul. Check all the breathers and then drain and refill the transfer case. it might stay as it should be for a long time.
