They are all right. 2.3 motors are good, but will be thirsty. Personally, I would go for the latest model, they are much better.

MeganI don't and won't stock them because the 2.3 is underpowered for a bigger vehicle ,The 3.0l is thirsty (beyond people mover normal) and they don't have a fantastic reliability record. There are a LOT of alternatives that are mechanically better.

Whatever suits your needs, but don't buy any people mover with the V6 engine. The Mazda you're looking at is OK, and should be reliable provided it gets serviced regularly. I would consider buying one myself, but I would rather get the late model Honda Odyssey or Toyota Ipsum even though they have less space. It really comes down to personal preference, what you like driving better, what is easier to get in and out of, etc.

We have a '95 Odyssey with a 2.2 litre engine and it uses about 10 litres per 100kms. I would expect about the same from the MPV.

the ipsum looks small but it damn big on actual space and storage.it has a huge under floor compartment and loads of room. .you can actually get adults in the back row unlike many others and the back row is split fold.they are probably the #1 selling people mover at the moment for a very good reason. go and drive one.
