Going to Build a Trailer

I'm going to build a 8x4 trailer for home, can't decide what to use for the floor, what is better plywood or steel! any other ideas that might useful!

treated ply will last forever, steel will rust.

1 x sheet of Ali Chequer plate, 3M tape it to your cross members for no fastenings, superb deck.

Until you use your shovel to get every bit of builders mix out.
Just use 25mm ply, should last forever if you throw a $10 Warehouse tarp over it when you're done.

Marine ply went onto my home made trailers, about 25mm thick. The one I kept lasted more than 25 years and was still in good condition when I sold it.

Ply is a hell of a lot cheaper than steel. Exactly the reason I'm going ply.
