In Your Prior Thread.
The *s*light is NOT on.
Now the *s* light flashes.
And in your previous thread the transmission is either in limp mode-

or it's broken a cable-or lost a shift modulator.
As it is NOT taking off AUTOMATICALY in LOWER gears.
So ALL letters in da wrd-K

U tlkn ta moi-in dat angry voiced tone!

beast9, Nov 20, 3:28am
a quick google search suggests that it could be linked to the cooling system ie blocked radiator or dicky thermostat

snoopy221, Nov 20, 3:36am
Yeah mate-there ya go-all ya problems solved aye.
Simple as that.
Just KNOW Ya Gunna Win Lotto.
And the complexities of why your automatic trans, ission sudennly decides to lock in *snow* mode and present the appropriate light .
And yet Just last night you had a similar problem WITHOUT THE LIGHT.
Incedentaly you referred to it taking off in Drive-last night-not the second gear it takes off in to reduce wheelspin in snow,,,

Don't take your anger out on me. take your anger out on yourself for
a) buying that type of car in the first place
b) (obviously) not getting a pre-purchase inspection done

.and yes, I do actually have some thinking to do with my spare time. Got a few things on my plate, thanks for asking :)
.oh, or did you mean "thing" .!

barnesy7, Nov 20, 3:47am
it is stuck in 3 gear and there was no light on cos the fuse had been taken outand yes i no that s stands for snow

beast9, Nov 20, 3:49am
if you need any more just type inyour header for this post into google there was quite a bit on there about these vehicles

snoopy221, Nov 20, 3:55am
See if we ask the questions and you provide the answers it makes a BIG diferrence.
Also if you provide the symptoms and ALL relevant information you can
as best you can it changes a LOT.
And it has been pointed out a pre purchase inspection can be handy.
Espescialy with complex computer controlled systems which have lights.

barnesy7, Nov 20, 3:57am

mechnificent, Nov 20, 4:09am
Hang in there Barnesy.
Next time, explain about the spelling difficulties and you will probably get a more understanding reception. Some people just like to stir huh.

Hope you figure it out.

snoopy221, Nov 20, 4:16am
End of the day in 95 it will either be OBD1-or OBD2.
Q! have a look at your fuse box-and report if there is a raised section with no fuse.

snoopy221, Nov 20, 4:18am
there was no light on cos the fuse had been taken out
Chances are it's OBD1 and you have placed it in diagnostic mode and the flashing light is now reporting the fault code.

barnesy7, Nov 20, 12:04pm
hi yes there a raised section with no fuse and it looks lt s 4 or 5 pin

barnesy7, Nov 21, 12:11am

Inhibitor/selector switch on top of trans - remove, take apart & clean & re-fit & re-try.

Take it to someone who has experience and training and they will look at it for you in exchange for $$$.

barnesy7, Nov 24, 7:31pm
ya thanks for that

barnesy7, Nov 24, 7:57pm
eny i dear on if it is a sensor

mugenb20b, Nov 24, 9:54pm
Yeah, I think so, but no one will ever know unless you do as post #23 suggested.

Also, might pay to read the dictionary a few times, your spelling is shocking.

treachug, Nov 25, 2:26am
Have you tried this yet! A faulty inhibitor switch (even just dirty contacts) was a known cause for flashing fault light & stuck in limp mode
