Would you!

If it passes a decent inspection.
Rentals do tend to get thrashed though

Yeah best to get it checked first, I had a rentalonce, Toyota, could do 50kph in first gear, started to splutter a bit, saved changing to second and third gear.

Depends what car it is, and the price.

We are considering a Toyota Highlander.

Consider something else. Even if it was in immaculate condition a Highlander is not a particularly great vehicle anyway.

Yes it should be agreat buy, they normally all get serviced and inspected so should be all good. hot miliage too. Rental companies only buy reliable cars as otherwise they will go out of business.

was it rental or a lease one , but find both have good service records as a rule for the right price would be a good buy

Always valve bounce the rental car in the airport car park. That way you don't have far to walk to get the next one if it chucks a rod
