gotta be 102 in the shade in te puke at the moment, went to fuel the mower but it evaporated b4 I could get it into the tank. so tried to grease some new axle bearings, but grease just drips off onto the ground !

LOL Rob, you should try Hamilton, got the heat AND humidity. Clouds thick enough to stop the heat getting away but thin enough to let the suns heat in.
Went out side to fill the mower with petrol & at the same time as the petrol evaporated, the tank was filling with sweat dripping off my forehead

have seen a simple sliding sleeve arrangement on a march rear bar years ago. only on one side. the sider was controlled by a cockpit adjustable lever. I have all the drawings for a blade type as well but it would cost to much and no they are not transferable.
