intrade, Nov 30, 7:58am
you got a spitfire or a washing machine i posted the part off

johnf_456, Nov 30, 8:09am
You dont have to spend every minute on the internet, in fact it comes across the radio as news on the hour. So you don't even have to make an effort to stop what your doing like when working under the hood or inspecting vehicles.

That is nearly the exact words I was going to reply to that comment!

Only difference is I would have added the 14th letter into your 8th word to more accurately describe the TMMB's 2 least appreciated self-appointed trolls.

To the twats who decided to come in and hijack my spitfire thread, rack off and make your own thread to muck around in.
I'm really looking forward to the retrieval of these planes, regardless of whether it's old news.

Cool story and will make great museum pieces.

Aluminium components that have been buried in the damp for 65 years are probably never going to be airworthy again.

the-lada-dude, Dec 1, 12:29am
why dont u just wait and see !they said on the news that spitfires are valued at around 1 million pounds each, i would have thought a mint flying example would be twice that ! and some

leonard57, Dec 1, 3:03am

purple666, Dec 1, 3:33am
Have heard a few good stories of WWII hardware buried/stored here in NZ over the years.
741b Indians still in crates
Fan to tailshaft flathead replacements in military stores
Weapons and jeeps in old quaries
just to mention a few
