Agreed. The five I imported this year was a breeze and Americans go out of their way to help Kiwi's in my experience.

It's good that someone did it easy. Not saying it was hard, just time consuming, and I seemed to find a spot when everyone was on leave the next time I made contact, so had to do it all over again - and they had a heap of long weekends.
One dealer I finished up ringing - I talked to a guy and told him they need to sort out their advertiser as it seemed obvious the message wasn't being sent on. He passed me on to another, who couldn't understand me - so by the time I gave up trying to give him my email, the first turkey must have checked up, and automated replies started coming through!
I mentioned this to my contact in Modesto and he said "Join the club"
One particular advertiser I sent at least 10 emails with no reply. Over a space of 6 weeks of queries every 2 or 3 days, I received only 2 replies. And one was only a fish to see if the system was working.
Once a contact was established, things ran OK.
Since the public registrations are closed, you must have an invite from a current member to be able to register and post in this thread.
