Rather than wasting $599 on a set of plates, why not spend $120 and get your name changed by Statutory Declaration to whatever is on your current plates! Ok, could be a bit difficult giving your name as HGE413, but think of the money you'll save!

Is it legal to have a DIY personalised number plate in addition to original number plate! This DIY plate could be placed in your back window or dash and as it is not the official plate, you would have free say what to put on it!
