Assuming identical viscosity range and API spec.which is the best brand to chose out of Pennzoil.Havoline,Castrol,Valv- oline and Fuchs which are the brands most easily available to me. I am purchasing a near new car (Falcon) and wish to choose something I can stick to. Your opinions appreciated.

At the end of the day they are prob all much the same, iv always used castrol magnatec and never had a problem with it.

Falcon's use Castrol in AFAIK all dealers in NZ and Aus. Depending on model (AU-BA Mk1) use 10w30, BAII through to FG all use 5w30, unless LPG or Turbo which use 15w40 or XR8 which use either 15w40 (AU and BA) or 0w40 (BF/FG)
