Theoretically. $67 but it would have to be bone dry. Usually about $45 which gives us 650Km of normal running or over 800km if doing long open road runs. Theoretically we could do about 1250km of long open road running on a tank if we ran it dry.
That's our commuter, I have never been able to squeeze more than 22 litres in the campervan but I fill it quickly when the light comes on. So that ones about $47.
We have others but those are the most interesting.

Peugeot 306 has a 67L tank so it costs about $130 when filling with 98, but I can get about 750km out of that.
The Lotus takes just under 39 Litres so about $85, but generally that'll only get me about 500km.

Last fill I think was around the $185 mark, on premium fuel. 85 litre tank. Ouch.

By my calculations if the NZD/USD went as low as it did 10 years ago, but crude and tax's remained at todays level, fuel would go up to about $3.46 a litre for premium.
Westwyn's 85 litre tank would then cost $294 to fill from dry.
Something to ponder.

I can't understand how people can work out their fuel economy by saying they get so many K's to a tank of petrol. Size of tank and engine makes a huge difference. We have 3 cars, One does just over 700K's to a tank, one does about 600, K's and the wee one does 760 K's. All get the same amount of hiway/town driving. This by no means tells you how economical each car is.

reggienz is correct, and there are so many driving factors /conditions that have a bearing on all this, even environmental factors. Just be happy and drive what you can afford. That's life.
