Ever been evicted from a car showroom?

When we lived in the UK 8 years ago we found buying a car quite difficult. We went to the local car yard one weekend and looked around. We may have taken one car around the block. Didn't buy anything. The next weekend we went to the yard again. The salesman wouldn't discuss another car and accused us of "just looking" as we had been there the previous weekend. So it would seem that if you didn't buy the first one you tried they wouldn't sell you anything. I wasn't that surprised because estate agents had similar ideas. If you looked at one extremely overpriced slum and didn't take it they wouldn't show you anything else. I think they wanted to only do business with their mates. The UK banks, of course, didn't want to do business with anyone. In the end my wife found us an almost affordable semi-detached house. And a friend bought us a car, a Vauxhall Cavalier, which died on a French motorway, and was written off over there, much to the delight of the British car registration authorities. I think they wanted us to pay the next year's registration on the scrapped poor old Cav.

More than happy to stand and argue over the price of a car, just don't need the abuse.

I don't need help getting a new subby, other than getting the wife to let me have one.

"As we do most weekends."
I would say you portrayed the classic signs of a tyre kicker.
The owner of the yard has total right to tell you to go,his prerogative.
You aren't obligated to buy from him and judging from your comments I doubt you will buy from anyone.
Now that you've been evicted from a car yard why don't you try your hand at Open Homes!
A whole new world awaits you!
