lol yup I know junk heap get rid of it.

Issue with left rear brake:
Has a drum brake, works but doesn't have enough pressure in the left rear for WOF machine test
All other corners are fine and test good on the machine
Pedal isn't spongy so suggests it doesn't need bleed?
Left rear wheel cyclinder was replaced
Handbrake appears to work fine.

Any ideas please, proportioning valve blockage?

Cheers.

have you bled L/H ,are brake shoes clean. not contaminated with fluid. last resort swap R/H drum over with L/H . also you can check that the brake hose isn't swelling under pressure. I guess you adjusted the shoes. One other thing make sure tyre pressures are correct.

this is all great stuff cheers, yup L/H been bleed, yeah brake shoes looked good and I even gave them a little sand which produced good dry dust, the brake hose swelling thing is very interesting will check that out too and try swapping over the drum, yup shoes adjusted and tyre pressures good.

Thanks very much for that.

did you messure the drum diameter with a vernier ?
because i had exactly that problem on my corolla no brake right rear.
so i mesured it and it was 1mm to go befor fully worn max diameter.
So i swapped drums left to right got brakes now on both sides and passed wof.
New set of drums will be required new or secoundhand as it was on max wear diameter anyhow
