Anyone who's had any bad runs with the captivas,2012 onwards? Thinking of buying it for parents . Looking at the captiva 7 2015 3ltr v6.

Any issues with them? Trans or motor wise. Or interior falling to bits

search the old threads in the box near the top left. You will find many a subject matter on the captiva

Have driven both. Owned a diesel one. Definitely go for the diesel. Far better to drive, great for towing the lighter stuff. Sold it to my sister at 80 km,no probs at all.

Couldn't find a diesel one. Apparently u have to drive them every day to avoid problems . Are they diesel turbo?

Just know it is Korean budget priced general motors. Not Holden, or even from euro arm Opel Vuaxhall. It's cheap cause it's low tech cheaply designed and made.

Same as how a Colorado and a Cruze are cheap compared to other vehicles in their market, Holden builds cheap and nasty cars these days.
Unfortunately you do get what you pay for with Holden.
