A later model. Toyota are more expensive than Nissan and even Honda but both have good reputations. looking at a Corolla Fielder or Avenis 1500cc.

A BZ has the 1600 20valve doesn't it? Are you after something that will get up and move or just a 1500cc economy bus? I didn't know that Avensis came with anything smaller than a 1600cc anyway. Cheap to run, a Wingroad would be another option. Pretty basic and should't give too much hassle. Relatively cheap compared to a Corolla too.

Yes just looking for a good reliable, cheap to run wagon. I don't want the quick 4age any more. Mid life crisis is over, ha, ha.

OK, I replaced my BZ with a V6 Blade hatchback. Might not be what you are looking for.
Wife has a Caldina 1.8. That's proabbly more like what you are looking for?
