Experienced operator in what appears to be an 6-wheel drive, adapted (modified) for the environment/terrain (permafrost thaw?). Nice vid.

An old army 6 by 6 GMC would do that with chains on no worries.

Take the snow chains off and he will be going nowhere and it is amazing how much extra grip you get with snow chains in mud
