Curran Brothers in the Waikato would be a bit closer to home, and they build the fastest rotaries around.

Whats a reliable rotary?

Any competition engine is a potential hand grenade, even the best engine builders can have engine failures at times if something like an oil line fails etc.
http://www.rotarypower.co.nz/ https://youtu.be/sjiYSDZukwQ (Build your own rotary) or perhaps a synergy v8 instead. I prefer the engines in NZ that sound like this. https://youtu.be/J42ayb1Js2A (HD festival) or overseas

Radbul has a PPRE 26B, twin Garrett turbos.
The Tallott RX7 had a good engine for the Targa wins - NASA seals etc.

Err yeah probably, I don't actually know. I just remembered always seeing the mural on the wall whenever I used to go to the Glenfield VTNZ way back like 10 years ago. Lol.
