It has a Masda B301 8 valve 1300cc motor.Anyone know how to adjust the tappet valve clearance and what the specs are?

You've already been told what the spec was in the other thread, READ IT. As for doing the job, you'd be best to buy a shop manual and a feeler gauge and do what it says and/or get a knowledgeable friend to help you, or else simply take it to a garage. Should only take about an hour plus maybe a new rocker cover gasket.

being a 90 8 valve should be a b3 engine ( cambelt ) only the earier e3 ( camchain ) had adjustable rocker gear, all b3's have hydralic lifters. may need some or all replaced

Well it's a Mazda that even Mazda could not be bothered making so farmed it out to unheard of at time Kia. When is a ford a Kia? Try online google as these were sold mostly in states so will have clearances for US surely.
