Hi guys, My 02 Subaru legacy sedan outside temp has started playing up. First thing in the morning it just says the outside temp is -24 or -25. Which obviously isn't the case. After driving, it frequently comes and go with accuracy. As a result, it stuffs up the climate control.
I assume there is some sort of air intake temp sensor? Where should I start as I'd prefer to have a go myself first before taking it to an auto sparky

I don't know about your car, but on mine the sensor is just clipped on to the bumper/grille behind one of the intake vents. It sounds like you either have a faulty sensor or perhaps just a poor/corroded connector.
