Will axles from an xy diff fit an xa diff spline wise, take length out of the equation as housing is getting chopped, and if so does anyone have a pair of axles or a diff lying about unwanted?

Same spline etc. I shortened an xa diff housing down to suit xy, and then used, xy axles in the xa housing

Righto ta, plan is to narrow xa diff 30 or 35 mm a side, and figured if the xy axles fit I may get away without resplining. now just to find one.
