Any one had experience with these cars? Am looking at buying an import.

Airwaves are all imports. All airwaves are 1500cc. Ive sold a few and had no negative feedback.-Biggest boot area for their class. I'd also look at the Toyota Feilder and Nissan wingroad which compete with it.

Is that the same 1500 as the 2002 Civic? If so, it is a very reliable and economical motor.

Well I bought an airwave and drove it back from Chch. A light shudder as you move off but drove very well, bit more road noise than I'm used to but a nice driver. And very economical. 212 K's on 13 litres.

Reggies-If there is a slight shudder then NOW get the gearbox oil changed If theres road noise then first thing to do is check the tyres to be sure they aren't mud/snow tyres
