Wondering if anyone can help please. I have been trying to find a rough cost for rear shocks for a 2001 Wingroad. Not having much luck with Mr Google today. lol

Ring your local tyre shop or parts suppliers ie BNT, Repco, Supercheap.

Supercheap have got a web parts lookup now - a bit like some of the US part stores. Good on them. http://www.supercheapauto.co.nz/spare-parts/parts-finder.aspx Took about 30 seconds to find KYB brand rear shocks listed for Wingroad @ $81.95 each, free delivery. BNT are probably more likely to carry stock though.

Best practice is to do in pairs, one gone other one will soon follow. Hi grannypam, long time no see (o:

Y13? OP's car was 2001, so presumably Y11 Supercheap also lists Y12 KYB rear shocks at $92 each.

Grannypam-MM is totally correct re model number Your Car is most likely a Y11 Y12 is 05 and newer. Don't ask where I got Y13 from -I dunno either. I'll delete my two posts BUT --Y11 rear shocks are about $ 200 a pair. Incidently theres two options depending on the weight you intend to carry. grannypam my honest advice to you. Replacing just one shock absorber is false economy. WORSE just tossing in a second hand one. Im guessing you have failed a WOF for leaking shock absorber.
