Well we bought a CX5 not a CX 3. The CX 3 is a nice car, has good handling so why wouldn't you suggest it? Please note I also suggested a Sportage and a Impreza pretty much in the same sentence so unsure how you think I was pushing the Mazda hard?
And I would never buy a Citroen - French cars do little for me as they tend to favour style over substance. Not that generally they aren't a nice looking car (the Cactus aside) but they tend to be a bit softer drive compared to say a German car or a Japanese car.

I had a very long test drive in the Cx3 and I actually liked it. It is s**tloads better than a vectra. Can't compare to the Citroen because I have not tested one yet.

I test drove none of the last 5 new cars I bought. Researched & decided what I wanted and bought it. No regrets. Dealer did ask if I wanted to test drive a car I said I wanted to buy, I said "why, is there something wrong with it"

LOL; I suppose you married you missus without taking her for a 'test drive' as well
