Tried but It keeps getting tangled in stuff, and i trip on it all the time too, and the cops complained as pedestrians were getting caught up and dragged, with the one on the car.

I am female and I don't ever recall being shocked getting out of car. If I did it was that long along I have managed to completely forget about it lol. I do wear dresses occasionally but not as often as I used to.

Somebody told me the electric shocks are caused by having tyres with nylon belt in them. Is this true? Op check your tyres.
Earth strap should work. Once at night I saw a car with one, it had a gizmo in it that sparked every time it earthed, like a small florescent bulb/camera flash bulb, japanese writing on it and on a jap import car.

I got a number of static shocks from a Nissan Primera once. Same clothes as I wear in every other csr. I suspect it's the upholstery material that is the problem. ?
