How about some finished pics please.

How did it go with all these alterations, did an inspector or such review as parts completed ? . or just a certification in one lump when finished. any problem with welding, did you need a welding ticket ?

Nice.
For the sake of style, perhaps find some modern mags that are close to period style.
Very common for ppl to put mags on them but those big spoke rims yell out "modified"

Yes. Great to see it done at last. Period style mags needed. I could've done it in a more age appropriate colour too - light blue/green and white.

I agree on colour scheme, the only alloys it should be wearing are early Cooper, Lotus, or Minilites . only my opinion
