My 2017 car went in at 29000K this year to have a new torque convertor fitted, that's the first major mechanical repair I have needed in the last 30 years of motoring, because it was unusual for a torque convertor to fail early the repair was done under warranty so no cost to me, the only other work done on the car is oil and filter annually and wiper blades.
