I guess knowing I would be having this conversation 35 or so years after the fact I wrote in my logbook about riding the GT 750.

The GT750 was a test day and yea topped out at 190 on the clock hanging on for dear life. I still had three of them since though.
The 200 km/h bike was a "written off" GTR1000 I bought on tender from World of Wheels (ex Laurie summers) in 1988 when I was racing Kawasaki KR1's
A numpty had it on finance and cancelled his insurance. He wrote off one pannier bag the whole left side of the fairing,The headlight and the handlebar and dinged the muffler so it wasn't economic to restore back to factory. I fitted headlight and fairing from a 82/83 gpz 750 Standard tubular bars and had a ball on the thing. Wobbled like heck round Jennian though
