cutting out and missing,have replaced spark plugs/fuel filter/air filter but just seems to miss under accelaration anyone got any further ideas for these motors plse

Assuming the HT leads aren't shorting out the air flow meter is probably dying, they develop dry solder joints inside them, loads of threads on this subject.

franc123 is right--air flow meter--,guess it stops at idle! had my daughters car airflow meter repaired--cost $160 from memory. Done by auto electrician--same motor.

Umm no frank1 it doesn't stop at idle only sometimes under accelaration. Will get that checked out, many thanks

if your fuel pressure is low it could also exhibit some of those symptoms. Check the system for leaks

was driving along the other day doing about a 100 and it just completely day as in all the electrics,rev counter and then just sparked back into life and carried on

Can't offer any advice but the GA15 (Pulsar) is far better than the QG15 (Sunny)!
